Leah Miller

A health coach, personal trainer & nutrition specialist with a passion to inspire and motivate people to take health and wellness into their own hands and start feeling better.

Here's my story-

I am well now. I spent an incredible amount of time being unwell. Not enough to really scare someone but enough to be overweight, tired, emotionally drained and sick of it. 

After years of taking medications for low thyroid and still feeling like crap everyday, I went to my doctor to ask some questions. I inquired about things such as insulin resistance, whether synthroid was the correct approach for me and shouldn't I feel better if my numbers were in the correct ranges? I was told to take my medication, that I was overthinking everything,  that I would always be on it for the rest of my life and maybe the size I was, was the size I was supposed to be.

"Is it really normal to feel like crap everyday?"

 

 

No, it is not. Listening to this and realizing it had to be complete BS, I started my own research. I took a deep dive into functional nutrition, eating patterns and circadian rhythms. What I found was pretty amazing. I started intermittent fasting and heavy lifting in December of 2020. By December 2021-I was down 40 pounds. By September 2022, I had put on 32 pounds of muscle.

 

I struggled a lot and for many years so I know how challenging it is. I’m passionate about helping people commit to proper nutrition and overall wellness through adequate exercise and education. I utilize a unique holistic approach, which encompasses Exercise, Nutrition, and Lifestyle to achieve overall health and wellness. I incorporate in-depth health and exercise evaluations, strength training and nutrition coaching to produce dramatic results for each individual client and their personal goals. 

 

 

I can currently be found online and at our private home gym teaching HIIT on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. Outside of the studio, you can catch me wrangling two toddler boys, building race cars, designing houses and herding chickens.
